ANOTHER REVERT (SEORANG LAGI HAMBA ALLAH MEMELUK ISLAM)

KOTA KINABALU, Ahad:-Seorang lagi hamba Allah (cik Hazel) memeluk Islam di Masjid Negeri Sabah. Kali ini seorang berbangsa cina berasal dari Singapura telah memeluk Islam di hadapan beberapa orang saksi. Turut hadir ialah Datuk Ismail Ag Besar, Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Masjid Negeri Sabah dan isteri beliau. Hazel memilih nama Eisyah (mengambil nama isteri Rasulullah).

Above: As usual, 'Ice breaking' was necessary before the reversion. Hazel was also asked by Janis whether she was forced by someone to revert to islam. And she said, "NO". Janis repeat the question "Did anyone forced you to revert to Islam?", she said "NO". She was further asked "Do you sincerely revert to Islam?", and she said "YES". She was asked again "would you like to listen to Islamic Tazkirah on Islam?", she answered "YES". "Would you like the presentation to be Malaysian language or english?", She said "english" and the 30 minutes tazkirah started.

Above (Atas): Before the reversion to Islam, a simple tazkirah was delivered in english entitled 'The beauty of Islam and the revealation history of various books of Allah'. (Sebelum upacara pengislaman dijalankan, satu tazkirah dalam bahasa Inggeris telah disampaikan oleh Janis Abdullah mengenai keindahan islam serta sejarah penurunan kitab-kitab).

Atas: Janis Abdullah menayangkan stastik penganut 10 agama utama di dunia dan beberapa faktor utama kenapa ramai orang memilih Islam sebagai "the new way of life"

Above (atas): Recitation of sahada was made. Janis led the reversion. (Janis mengajar Hazel mengucap dua kalimah syahada).

Above (atas): "I recite and you repeat after me" (saya baca dan kamu ikut) "Asyhadu alla ilaaha Illallah, wa asyhadu anna Muhammadar Rasulullah", I testify that there is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger". (aku naik saksi bahawa tiada tuhan melainkan Allah dan aku naik saksi bahawa Muhammad pesuruh Allah)

Above (atas): Alhamdulillah, praise be to Allah for His guidance to make this ceremony a success. Seen above, doa was recited by Janis after the reversion.(Syukur kepada Allah kerana memberi hidayah sehingga acara itu berjalan dengan jayanya. Kelihatan Janis sedang memimpin doa selepas acara pengislaman).

Above: After the reversion ceremony, doa was recited praising Almighty for making the ceremony simple and full of barakah (Selepas pengislaman, doa dibaca sambil bersyukur kepada Allah kerana acara ringkas itu selesai dengan penuh berkat).

Witnessing the ceremony is good as a show of support to the newly revert (menghadirkan diri dalam upacara itu adalah baik sebagai satu sokongan kepada orang yang baru memeluk agama Islam)
