MOTIVASI SOLAT (TARAWIH DI MASJID NEGERI SABAH)

.

Memang menarik perhatian sekali terutama bila pelancung berkunjung.

.

STUDY TIPS

STUDY SKILLS
.
A. SUMMARIZE IMPORTANT POINTS

When studying, gather all notes, handouts or reference materials on the subject. Once you have done that, try to summarize the important points by listing them down in bullet points. Draw diagrams if necessary. Reread your notes and try to recall how your lecturer or teacher discussed them. Also, many students find it more effective to study together with a buddy. A studying buddy can help you test your skill in memory recall and reinforce your understanding of the subject.

B. BEAT YOUR LAZINESS

Laziness can become a big stumbling block in your studies, but with perseverance, commitment and a little support, it can be overcome. Here are some tips to beat laziness: Firstly, think of your target and goals – you know you can’t be lazy if you want to succeed. Secondly, keep healthy by getting enough rest and sleep, doing regular exercises and not eating too much until you feel too heavy to move. Third, repeat your goals everyday, and when you’re ready, tell the people around you. Lastly, the support that you need may come from your family, friends; or maybe your religion. Or, it can even come from your own self! Every morning and before you go to bed, look at the mirror and tell yourself you will beat your laziness!

C. REVIEW SCHOOLWORK

Successful students don’t spend all their weekend having fun. They set a few hours, especially on the evening before class, to review their schoolwork. This helps them to be ready to go back to class when another week begins.

D. STEADY STUDY GROUP

One of the best ways to understand and remember what you study is by exchanging questions and answers with a partner. You can play this Question-and-Answer game with a classmate. Or you can form teams and play by giving marks for correct answers and subtracting marks for each wrong answer. The winning team gets a small prize such as a cup of tea or a pencil for each member, but all participants will benefit by learning and remembering along the way!

E. WRITE CORRECT WORD AND SPELL IT RIGHT

There are many pairs of English words that sound alike, but each has a different meaning. For example, affect means to influence, while effect means the result of something. Be careful to use the correct word so that you will not express something different than what you mean to express. Ask your teacher or lecturer; or just check with the Internet, or a dictionary, when you are not sure. Always write the right word!

F. KEEP TRACK ON ASSIGNMENT DATELINE

Always remember that time is a critical resource that you can’t replace when it’s gone. Smart students use their time wisely so that they won’t complain of not having enough time when exams or assignment deadlines are around the corner. Stick a large calendar up on your wall, behind the door, on the wall of a cupboard etc and look at it daily so that you always know the number of days you have before the exam or assignment deadline.

G. REVIEW IMMEDIETLY AFTER CLASS

Review reading assignments and exercises just before class, or before preparing your school bag. Then, review what you have learned immediately after class, or on the same day when you get home. This way, you will be better prepared to absorb lessons during class, and will remember what you have just learned.

PANDUAN RINGKAS MENYAMBUT RAMADHAN

-
Menyambut Ramadhan:
.
1. Berdoalah agar Allah swt. memberikan kesihatan agar kita dapat beramal disepanjang Ramadhan.
.
2. Bersyukurlah atas kehadiran Ramadan.

NUMBER 786 (satanic temptations?)

.
Question:
.
I have seen most of the Asian people (Pakistani and Indian) give importance to the number 786; they say that it symbolises shahada (that there is not God, except Allah). Should I give importance to that number? Please refer me to Hadith or Qur'an in addition to your opinion.
.
Fatwa:
.
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. This act is no more than a myth and there is no evidence that supports it in Sharia. This is merely a form of satanic temptations or an innovation of some ignorant Muslims. The glorification of Allah should be by practicing His commands, keeping away from His prohibitions, fearing His punishment and seeking His reward and Paradise. The glorification of Allah should be by honouring His Book, the Qur'an, reciting it precisely and applying it in real life. The glorification of Allah should be by respecting His Messengers (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon them) by following their orders, believing in tidings they brought, avoiding what they banned and worshipping Allah as they taught. So, a Muslim should not follow such myths and innovations. Allah has stated in the Holy Qur'an that the evidence of the love of the Prophet lies in obeying him. Allah Says (Interpretation of meaning):
.
(Say (O Muhammad to mankind), if you (really) love Allah, then follow me. Allah will love you and forgive you of your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful).
.
We should avoid all kinds of myth and innovation, awake up people's awareness to give them up, and we must do our best to refute them. Prophet Muhammad (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:
.
"If somebody tries to introduce into this faith of ours (Islam) something, which is not a part of it, is to be rejected (and that person is condemned)". [Bukhari and Muslim].
.
Allah knows best.

Q & A

Question:
Why do Muslims abuse non-Muslims by calling them Kafirs?
.
Answer:
.
Kafir means one who rejects.

‘Kafir’ is derived from the word ‘kufr’, which means to conceal or to reject. In Islamic terminology, ‘Kafir’ means one who conceals or rejects the truth of Islam and a person who rejects Islam is in English called a ‘non-Muslim’. If a ‘non-Muslim’ considers being called a ‘non-Muslim’ or ‘Kafir’, which are one and the same, an abuse, it is due to his misunderstanding about Islam. He or she needs to reach out to proper sources of understanding Islam and Islamic terminology, and not only will he not feel abused but appreciate Islam in the proper perspective.

Miraculous medicinal uses of Zamzam

.
Miraculous medicinal uses of Zamzam.
By: Dr. Qazi Shaikh Abbas
It was the earnest need of the child that mother of Ismail Nabi ran in search of water in the vicinity of Makkah. Under divine instruction, Jibreel (A.S.), struck the site of the land with his heels, and perpetual source of healing Zamzam was discovered. Zamzam was considered sacred earlier to Islam amongst Jews as well as Christians too. Afterwards, due to the religious bigotry they ignored it. It has simultaneously three abilities, to quench the thirst and removes the feeling of hunger. The next ability of Zamzam, as per traditions, is its numerous and enormous medicinal benefits.
· Rasulullah(S.A.W) used to carry Zamzam in water-bags to Madinah. He used to sprinkle it over the sick and offered them to drink it with the intention of cure, (Al Silsilat al Saheeyah, 883, Qaherah).
· According to the Hadith literature "Zamzam, is a Barakat, a food that satisfies and a cure for the sick". (1-Abizar, Muslim, 4/1922; 2-. Al Tayaalisi (61)).
· Zamzam is considered to help students in the correct pronunciation of Arabi in non-Arab region.
· It was Abizar who expressed his personal experience to his Lord, Rasulullah(S.A.W.A.),while he questioned about his foodstuff. He informed: I had spent forty long days with Zamzam. I do not feel any kind of weakness or hunger nor do I become slim." Rasulullah(S.A.W.A.) declared: "Verily, it is blessed, it is food that nourishes." (Muslim, 2473).
· According to the Tradition narrated by Jabir bin Abdullah al Ansari "With whatever (legal) intention one can drink it his wish fulfills". "It is a cure for a numerous diseases by the order of Allah. So you should have the intention of what you want to gain by drinking this water".
· Abbas informed: "Before the dawn of Islam, Zamzam was known as Shabaah (satisfaction). When he drank from Zamzam, he recited this Doa: "O Allah! I ask you for beneficial knowledge, plentiful provision and healing from every disease."
· It is applied to the eyes to brighten the sight.

MOON SPLIT (BULAN TERBELAH)-MUKJIZAT NABI MUHAMMAD

-
KESAN BULAN TERBELAH DUA (AL-QAMAR)
-
-
ALLAHU AKBAR.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
This pictures shows the location of the rocky belt which shows the moon was once split. The unbelievers of Makah said to the prophet that if you are truly a prophet split the moon and if you do so we shall believe. It was a full moon that night…
-
And so the prophet prayed to Allah to grant him this miracle and the moon was split. Half was seen over mount Saffa and the other over mount Kaikaan.
-
The people said the prophet has placed a spell on us, however if he played trick on us then he can’t play trick on all of the people in the world. Abu Jahal then said “let us wait until the people Albadiah come and if they saw the moon split, then it is true, if not then we all know it was a trick of magic.
-

When the people of Albadiah came they too said they saw the moon split and the disbelievers said “oh how powerful Muhammad magic is”.
-
Then Allah revealed surat Al Qamar: “The hours has come near and the moon has split and when they see a sign, they turn and say ‘there is a continuous magic’ and they disbelieved and follow their desires…”.
-

This took place in the days of prophet Muhammad in Makah. In one of Dr Zaglool Al-Najar’s seminar in one of the British Universities said:”The miracle of the splitting of the moon has been proven recently”
-

Soon the scientist came to discuss the most expensive trip to the moon which costed 100 billion dollars, so the broadcaster asked them “so to put the American flag on the moon you spent this much money?”
-

This scientist stated that this amount of money was spent because they were trying to study the internal structure of the moon to see what similarities it has with the earth and they said that they were surprised to find a 'belt of rock' that goes from the surface of the moon right to the inner depth.
-

Being quite surprised, they gave this information to their geologists, who was also surprised as they concluded that this couldn’t be unless the moon was once split and resealed. The rock on the belt are a result of the impact during the time that the two halves of the moon recombined.
-
Watching this, brother Dawood Mussa jump off his seat screaming “This is Muhammad miracle which occurred more than 1400 years ago and now the Americans are spending billions of dollars to prove it to the Muslims. He then said ‘this must be the true religion, and so, where once Surah Al-Qamar was a cause of him disbelieving Islam, it was now the reason for him to embrace Islam.

AWAS KURMA KELUARAN ISRAEL

-

RACISM IN ISLAM

What did the Prophet say about racism?
-
Religion and scripture have long been blamed for many of society's ills. You've probably heard these rants before:
-
"Religion causes bloodshed!""Religion causes war!"
-
It's not religion but the misinterpretation of religion that contributes to the social evils we see today. True Religion can only serve as a source of peace. It doesn't cause society's problems, it cures them.
-
The election of President Obama when compared to the legacy of slavery and segregation in our country is a living testimony to how far we've evolved and matured as a nation.Nevertheless, in certain pockets of the world racism still lives. It exists as a modern evil - a mental disease caused by a corrupted mindset.
-
Its cure by the way is nothing new, in fact it's fourteen hundred years old. Islamic tradition known as Hadith states that in his final sermon the Prophet Muhammad, Allah's Blessings and Peace be upon him, said:
-
"There is no superiority for an Arab over a non-Arab, nor for a non-Arab over an Arab. Neither is the white superior over the black, nor is the black superior over the white -- except by piety."
-
